Auguste Richard 1924 - 2005 ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Auguste Richard, 81, husband of the late Diane (Arsenault) Richard of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Sunday, October 30, 2005 after a sudden illness with family by his side. Born in St. Louis de Kent he was the son of the late Joseph Richard and Marie (Richard) Richard. He had been a long time employee as a Carpenter with Saint John Ship Building and Dry Dock and was a member of the St. Louis de Kent Golden Age Club. He served with the Canadian Army during WW II. He will be sadly missed by daughters, Denise Olsen (Doug), Moncton, Georgette Porter (Brian), Saint John and son, Michel (Anne Marie), Moncton; six grandchildren, Vanaissa, Matthew, Meagan, Denis, Danielle, Gabrielle; one great granddaughter, Molly Dawn and many nieces and nephews; one sister, Bernadette Curwin (Kenneth), Moncton. He was predeceased by a granddaughter and several brothers and sisters. Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
