Aulden Colley Tucker

Aulden Colley Tucker 1926 - 2005 ELGIN, NB - Aulden Colley Tucker, age 79, of Elgin, passed away, Monday, October 31, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital. Born June 16, 1926 in Elgin, he was a son of the late William and Nellie (Colley) Tucker. He had worked for Modern Construction, with F. E. Sayre Lumber Company, and retired in 1985 as Highway Foreman, New Brunswick Department of Transportation with 23 years service. Following his retirement he operated a small sugar bush. He spent a short time in Merchant Marines during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Norma (Bannister); special niece, Beth Fitzpatrick (Don) of Rothesay; special cousins, Berna Tkachuk (Roy) and Carolyn Gamble (Bob); uncle, Frank Robinson; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Floyd; an infant brother; cousins, Murray Alexander, Irma Steeves Hicks. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The service will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Friday, November 4, 2005 at 1:30pm, with Pastor J. Hammond officiating. The burial will be held in the New Elgin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetic Association or the Elgin Fire Department would be appreciated. www.armstrongsfh.com
