Zoel Girouard Zoel Girouard, 92, of Villa du Repos, Moncton and formerly of Ste-Marie-de-Kent, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2005 at the Villa du Repos. Born January 28, 1913 in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Sylvestre and Suzanne (Robichaud) Girouard. He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by five daughters, Marguerite Maillet of Ste-Anne-de-Kent, Marie Maillet (Lawrence) of Ontario, Alice Cormier of Ste-Marie-de-Kent, Noëlla Collette (Roger) and Thérèse Caissie (Roger) of Bouctouche; three sons, Edmond (Monique) of Québec, Raymond (Denise) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent and Laurent of Calgary, AB; one sister, Sr. Marie Suzanne Girouard, n.d.s.c., of Moncton; twenty-seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Rita (Cormier) Girouard (2002); two sisters, Marie Cormier, Marguerite LeBlanc and by three brothers, Alec, Joseph and Edgar. Resting at Notre-Dame-du-Carmel Church, Ste-Marie-de-Kent. Visiting hours, Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Saturday from 10a.m. until time of funeral. The funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Notre-Dame-du-Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Ste-Marie-de-Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
