John Patrick McGrath 1934 - 2005 John Patrick McGrath, 71, Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Friday, November 4, 2005. Born in St. Johns, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late James and Annie (Cooper) McGrath. John spent most of his life being self employed. John was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and just celebrated his 25th Anniversary and through testimonials was inspirational as well as instrumental in helping several others cope with this affliction. He is survived by his sons, Gregory, Bruce and Michael; sisters, Joan Blakney, Betty (Doug) Trueman, Moncton; brothers, Stanley (Corinne), Gerry (Stella), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, James. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, (858-1995), Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 10am Rev. Jean-Bernard Mallais officiating. Interment at Shediac Road Cemetery.
