Marion F. Hudson
Marion F. Hudson FREDERICTON, NB - Marion F. Hudson passed away November 13, 2005 in Fredericton after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Prospect, Nova Scotia in 1926. Her parents were the late Joseph and Rita (Christian) Hardiman. She worked as a civilian cryptographer during the 1940's and early 1950's. She married the late Norman Hudson in 1953. As a military family, they lived in a number of places in Canada before settling in Moncton. Marion resided in Moncton for the past 41 years and was a long time member of St. Michael's Parish, where she belonged to the St. Michael's Ladies' Society. Marion is survived by her daughter Rita Kean (Ross) of Fredericton; her sons, Steven (Kristy) of St Catherine's, Bruce (Barb) of Halifax and Robert (Shelley) of Montreal; four grandchildren, Sarah and Mark of Fredericton, Emma and Tom of St. Catherine's; her sisters, Kay Auger of London, Ontario, Helen Timmerman and Esther Collicott both of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Jean and Anna Hardiman both of Prospect, Nova Scotia; sisters-in-law, Joan Hudson of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Margaret Hardiman (Victor) of Brockville, Ontario; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her twin brother, Victor; a sister, Theresa MacDonald. A Funeral service will be held at St. Michael's Church in Moncton on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 1:30 PM with a reception to follow. Internment will be at a later date in Prospect, Nova Scotia.
