Shirley Snider
Shirley Snider PETITCODIAC, NB - Shirley Ruth Snider ,76, of Petitcodiac and formerly Wheaton Settlement, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital. Born at Dobson's Corner she was a daughter of the late Myles and Gertrude (MacLeod) Lounsbury. Shirley worked for many years for the T. Eaton Company and then Cook's Home Hardware until retirement. She was an active member of the Wheaton Settlement Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, was the former church organist and was a life member of the W.M.S. She was also a former member of the Codiac Chords. She will be sadly missed by her son, Dale and his wife, Mary of River Glade; her grandsons, Michael (Kimberley) and Jeremy and her cherished great grandsons, Zachary and Alex. Survived also by sisters, Jean Steeves of Petitcodiac, Marion Fawcett (Dean) of Intervale and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Meb in 2002. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road with visiting hours Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be Sunday, November 20, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Wheaton Settlement Baptist Church with Pastor Lloyd O'Blenes officiating.
