Barbara Abbass Barbara Abbass, 68, wife of Tony (Anthony) Abbass, died peacefully Friday, November 25, 2005 following a brave battle with cancer. Born May 20th, 1937 in Michigan City, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Sawaya) Karm. She was a member of Holy Family CWL, Gyrettes and Moncton Golf and Country Club. Barbara was an avid bridge player and a dear friend to all who knew her. Besides her husband, she will be greatly missed by her four children, Lori Gosselin (Auguste) of Riverview, Julie LeBlanc (Eric) of Moncton, Dr. Allan Abbass (Jennifer) of Halifax, Stacey Johnstone (Kevin) of Dartmouth; eight grandchildren, Melanie, Natasha, Jessica, Alexandre, Erica, Cassandra, Lauren, Jillian; her stepmother, Juliet Karm of Indiana; and her brother, William Karm (Carol) of California. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Saturday from 7 to 9, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45).
