Ruth E. Jensen 1933 - 2005 Ruth E. Jensen, 72, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital in Moncton on Tuesday, December 6, 2005. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late George & Celia (Dickie) Dewar. She was a retired employee of the Moncton Hospital. Ruth was a member of St. John's United Church and a member of the UCW. She was an active volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society and with a Breast Cancer Support Group as well as a member of the Ladies Probus and the Riverview Gyrettes. Ruth will be missed by her husband, E. Fred Jensen; daughter, Susan Lutes (Greg) of Moncton, NB; sons, David Jensen of Moncton, John Jensen (Lori) of Saint John, NB; seven grandchildren, Jack, Jim, Jeremy Jensen and Rob, Tom and Katie Lutes and Nate Jensen; a brother, Darrell Dewar (Isabel) of Durham, ON. and by several nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt and uncle. Family will be receiving family and friends at the Riverview Funeral Home, Pine Glen Rd. on Thursday, December 8 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The Memorial Service will be held at Riverview Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 9, 2005 at 11:00 am with Aaron Billard officiating. Interment will be in St. Martins in the Woods Cemetery in the spring.. Donations in Ruth's memory made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation "Oncology Dept." or to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
