Yvon Maillet SAINT-NORBERT DE KENT, NB - Yvon Maillet, 84, husband of Thérèse (Maillet) Maillet, passed away at Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Saint-Anne de Kent, on Thursday, December 8, 2005 after a sudden illness. Born in Saint-Norbert de Kent, NB on November 21, 1921, he was the son of the late Alphée Maillet and the late Emilienne Cormier. He was a lumberman and a farmer, attended Saint-Norbert de Kent Roman Catholic Church, was a member of the Saint-Norbert de Kent Golden Age Club, served in WWII. He is survived by his wife, Thérèse Maillet; four daughters, Denise Cormier of Bouctouche, Edna Allain (Guy), Andréa Allain (Jean-Paul) both of Saint-Antoine, Paulette Little (Vincent) of Rexton; three sons, Ola (Aurelda) of Saint-Antoine, Jean-Guy (Jaqueline), Rejean both of Saint-Norbert; two sisters, Thérèse Richard of Richiboucto-Village, Viola Bastarache of Saint-Maurice; one brother, Willie (Lina) of Saint-Antoine; eleven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Omer; three sisters, Adèle, Aurelie, Marie-Louise; eight brothers, Tilmon, Alban, Eddie, Albert, Raymond, Edgar, Calixte, Emile. Resting at Saint-Norbert de Kent Mortuary Hall. The funeral service will be held at Saint-Norbert de Kent Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 11 am. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery. There will be visitation on Friday, from 7 to 9 and Saturday, 9 to 10:45 am. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
