Gertrude Arsenault 1916 - 2005 GRANDE-DIGUE, NB - Gertrude Arsenault, 89, wife of Aurèle Arsenault of Grande-Digue, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2005 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. Born in Saulnierville, N.S., January 12, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Willie Comeau and the late Mary Murphy. Gertrude was a Registered Nurse with VON prior to retiring. She was a member of La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue. Besides her husband, Aurèle; she is survived by four daughters, Louise Gilbert and Suzanne Hopper (Jim) all of Moncton, Simone Arsenault (Gérald Chouinard) of Balmoral and Denise Arsenault (late Guy Goguen) of Grande-Digue; six sons, Pierre (Gloria) of Saint-John, Normand, Gérald (Anne-Marie) all of Moncton, Éric (Lucille) of Saint-Marcel, Raymond (Linda Laroque) of Montebello, QC, and André (Verna) of Grande-Digue, two sisters: Edith Tufts of Saulnierville, Margot Metcalfe of Sheet Harbor, N.S.; 16 grandchildren and by 14 great grandchildren. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday, December 13, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Wednesday, December 14, from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:40a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue. Interment will be held in the Parish Cemetery in Grande-Digue.
