Esther Goguen 1924 - 2005 CAP PELE, NB - Esther Goguen, 81, of Chemin Bas Cap Pelé, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 after a brief illness. Born in Cape Pelé, NB on October 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Aimé Cormier and the late Edmée Landry. She was retired from School Maintenance. Esther attended Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church and was a Membre de la légion de Marie et le Charismatique. Esther is survived by her husband Désiré Goguen; four daughters, Linda Richard (Maurice) of Cap Pelé, Dorine Richard (Réginald) (Nicky Trenholm), Joanne LeBlanc and Louise Cormier (Armand) all of Moncton; two sons, Donald (Brenda) and Kenneth (Rita) both from Cap Pelé; two sisters, Geraldine LeBlanc (late Joe) of Robichaud; Anne-Marie Doucet (Eddie) of Tignish, PE; five brothers, Freddy (Annette), Roy (Dorothy), Paul (Germaine), Aquila (Alice) and Cloris (late Aline) all of Cap Pelé; 19 grandchildren; four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister, Georgia Poirier. Resting at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room with visitation on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and also on Thursday, December 15, 2005 from 9am until time of Funeral. The Funeral Serice will be held at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 10 am. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requested in Esther's memory donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or donor's choice would be appreciated.
