Aubrey Melanson
Aubrey Melanson Aubrey Melanson, 87, of Moncton, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born July 20, 1918 in Lewisville, he was the son of the late Honoré and Béatrice (Ward) Melanson. He was a retired machinist at CN, a 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council, Dieppe Golden Age Club, Senior Bowling League, a founding member of Maison Ste-Croix in Pré-d'en-Haut, a former director of Caisse Populaire de Lewisville, former member of Lewisville choir, Beauséjour Club, and past president Keefe Cubs Baseball. He also enjoyed playing golf. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 42 years, Adeline (Caissie) Melanson; son, Bernard (Claudette); two grandchildren, Marcel (Carole) and Carole Cormier (Steve); two great-grandchildren, Xavier Cormier and Michelle Melanson; two sisters, Madeleine Dollemont and Geraldine Hicks (Hollis); many nieces and nephews. A brother, Raphaël "Ralph" predeceased him. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858- 1900). Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m, Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at St. Louis-de-France Roman Catholic Church (Lewisville).
