Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, of Clifton MacCormack, of North St. Eleanors, aged 73 years. Born in North St. Eleanors, he was the son of the late Oliver and Kathleen (Muirhead) MacCormack. Survived by his wife Isabelle (MacKinnon) MacCormack; sisters Evelyn Lecky, Sarnia, ON; Shirley Lord, Cape Traverse; Charlotte Smith, Edmonton, AB; Phyllis (Jim) Parsons, Plumas, MB; brothers Angus (Rita), St. Eleanors; Wilfred (Rosella), North St. Eleanors; Winston (Linda), St. Eleanors and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two infant sisters, brother Oliver Bradford Jr. and sister Frances Emma MacCormack and by brothers-in-law Alex Lecky and Warren Lord. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. John’s Anglican Church, St. Eleanors, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will later take place in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
