Elaine Comeau

Elaine Comeau 1954 - 2006 KINGSTON, NS - Mrs. Elaine Comeau, wife of Edward Comeau, of Kingston, NS and formerly of Miramichi, NB, passed away at her residence on January 5, 2006, at the age of 51, after a lengthy illness. Born at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in the former Town of Chatham, on April 8, 1954, Elaine was the daughter of Douglas and Irma Davidson of Miramichi. Elaine was a Mother and homemaker. Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, Todd Comeau of Edmonton, Alberta, and Chris, Jeff and Danielle Comeau, all of Kingston, NS. She is also survived by her parents, Douglas and Irma Davidson; one sister, Evelyn Powell (David) of Miramichi, as well as her mother-in-law, Elsie Comeau, of Miramichi; three brothers-in-law, Donnie Comeau (Donna) of Napan, NB, Wayne Comeau (Rose) of Kouchibouguac, NB, Stephen Comeau (Marlene) of Point Aux Carr, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by infant twin sisters, Dorothy and Dawn Davidson and brother-in-law, Danny Comeau. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Miramichi, on Monday, January 9, 2006, at 4:30 p.m. Burial in St. Andrew's Cemetary in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Paul McGuire and V.O.N. Nurses and V.O.N. Support Workers of Kingston, NS, for the kind care they extended during Elaine's illness. Also, sincere thanks are extended to the many relatives, friends and neighbors who sent cards, letters and expressed their care and concern for Elaine over the past years. Your kindness will forever be remembered.
