Richard C. Kelly 1919 - 2006 SACKVILLE, NB - Richard C. Kelly, formerly of Stilesville, NB and recently of The Drew Nursing Home, passed away at The Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Born in Stilesville, NB, he was the son of the late Leslie O. and Ina (Hicks) Kelly. He was a farmer, a former owner operator of Richard Kelly and Son Maple Sugar Products and a former employee of Moncton Crushed Stone. He attended Hillside Baptist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Maxwell (Ernest) of Dieppe, Geraldine Smith (Bernard) of Shubenacadie, NS, and Shirley MacKnight of McLaughlin Rd, Moncton; his son, Burton Kelly (Paula) of Stilesville; five sisters, Julia Renton (Allie) of Stilesville, Ruth Murray (Paul) of Upper Coverdale, Annie (late Earl) Morton of Moncton, Henrietta Letterick (Doug), and Viola Groundwater (late Cecil) all of Moncton; four brothers, Ken Kelly (Marie) of Stilesville, Bradley Kelly (Jeanine) of Moncton, Weymond Kelly (Donna) of Upper Coverdale, and Charlie Kelly (Carol) of Irishtown; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Helen (Groundwater) Kelly and by sisters, Leta Morton and Zelda Kelly. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, on Sunday January 8, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Monday January 9, 2006 at 2:00pm with Rev. Gordon Horsman officiating. Interment will be in Stilesville Cemetery in the spring. In Richards memory, donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society, The NB Lung Association or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
