Colin Jordan 1921 - 2006 SHERBROOKE, NS - Colin Jordan (84), passed away at the Saint Mary's Regional Health Center in Sherbrooke, N.S. January 9, 2006. Born December 1921, he was the son of the late Robert and Hannah Jordan of Jordanville, N.S. His wife, Mildred O'Connor; brothers, Frazer, Howard and Harley and his sisters, Catherine and Mildred preceded him. He is survived by Margie Jordan of Sherbrooke and a sister, Marion Jewers of Goldsborough, N.S. A brother-in-law Walter O'Connor of Moncton. Survived by his sons, Jim, Moncton, grandson James; Michael of Windsor, Ont, grandchildren Colin, Emily and Katlin; Robert and wife, Doris of Moncton, grandsons Caleb and Owen; his only daughter, Jane and husband Jonathan Mawhinney of Moncton, grandchildren Mary, Jonathan and Maria; several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the WWII serving in France, Holland and Germany. He was retired from Modern Construction / Modern Enterprises Ltd. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He truly enjoyed his retirement years and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. The remains have been forward for cremation, no visitation by request. There will be a private family committal service in the spring at the Precious Blood Cemetery in Elgin, N.B. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the memorial of the donors choice.
