Peter Thompson Peter Thompson, 76, of Riverview, surrounded by his family passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 11, 2006. Born in Whitgift, England, Peter was a professional engineer. He received his Engineering Degree at Nottingham University and his Masters in Civil Engineering at University of London. He was a member of the Moncton West and Riverview Rotary Club and enjoyed his work, spending time with his family and friends. Peter will be sadly missed by his wife of 31 years, Ruth (LeBlanc) Thompson; daughters, Robin, Dieppe, Courtney, at home, Ashley Carson (Daryl) Moncton and his precious granddaughter, Emma Carson; special aunt, Olive Hughes, Riverview. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday, 7 to 9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, February 15, 1:30pm, Rev. Steve Berube officiating. Reception following the service. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
