Catherine Violet Smyth Mackay TORONTO, ON - Catherine Violet Smyth Mackay, passed away peacefully, after a short heroic battle with Cancer on Saturday, February 18, 2006, at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto at the age of 45. Beloved wife, of Dr. Tim Mackay of Kitchener. Loving mother, of Meghan Catherine Mackay. Dear daughter of Bruce and Velma Smyth of N.B. and daughter-in-law of Norman and Jean Mackay of Kitchener. Dear sister of Karen and Allan Boileau of N.B. Loving Aunt to Beth and her husband Jonathan Hunter, Sean and Aron; Dear sister-in-law of Sharon Mackay of Kitchener. Catherine was passionate about her career as an executive with Central Park Lodge. She was a graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a BBA and later achieved her CMA. Catherine had a zeal for life and enjoyed time spent with Tim and Meghan, skiing, boating and golfing. A memorial service to celebrate Catherine's life will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at Benton St. Baptist Church, 90 Benton St., Kitchener, ON at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Parks officiating.
