Francis Roderick MacDonald, age 73, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in Humber Hospital, Toronto.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Roderick and Elizabeth MacDonald.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Sedore); sisters, Ann (Leonard) Bates, Swampscott, Mass.; Mary (Al) Sutherland, New Glasgow; brothers: Donald, Neil (Lolly), George “Willie” (Marion), all of New Glasgow; John (Donna), Westville; Lawrence, Trenton; Louis (Shirley), Stellarton.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A private family service will be held in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, with burial of ashes in Holy Cross Cemetery, New Glasgow. www.rhporter.ca
