Amy Allen BOWMANVILLE, ON - The death of Amy Allen, age 85, of Bowmanville, formerly of Cape Tormentine, NB, occurred suddenly at her home on Monday, February 20, 2006. Born in Midgic, NB, she was a daughter of the late John and Minnie (Hicks) Hicks. She is survived by two daughters, Essie Davidson, (Al Malette) Bowmanville, ON, and Wilda DeWitt (Winston), Point De Bute, NB; sister, Jessie Mills, Cambridge, ON and four grandchildren, Kevin, Ross, Kirk and Carrie; nephew, Hartley (Carol) Hicks, Cambridge, ON. She was predeceased by her first husband, Wm (Bill) Trenholm; second husband, Glen Allen; son, Allie of Oshawa, ON; brothers, Elmer, Walter, Arnold; and a sister, Janie MacNaughton. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 W Main St., Port Elgin, NB (364-1300) with visiting hours on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 1 pm until the time of the funeral. The funeral will be held at the Funeral Home at 2 pm on Friday, February 24, 2006, Rev. Bill Drysdale officiating.
