Mrs. Rose Kingston 1915 - 2006 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Rose Kingston, 90, of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home formerly of Water St. Miramichi NB, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, February 27, 2006. Mrs. Rose Kingston was born in Russellville, NB, the daughter of the late Sidney and Mary Charlotte Savage (nee Arsenault). Rose worked as a cook at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #3, the United Church Women (UCW) of Loggieville, the Loggieville Senior Citizens Club and a member of the Silver Link Rebecca Lodge. Rose is survived by daughters, Mrs. Joan Cripps (Ken) of Miramichi, Mrs. Florence Glynn (Gerald) of Miramichi, Donna Nutter (Richard) of Calgary, Alberta, Annie Ray Hexham (James) of Atlantic City, Joy Kingston (John) Calgary, Alberta, Cindy MacDonald (Bill) of Hampton; sons, Thomas (Leigh) of Oakville Ont., John (Mary) of Mount Uniacke, NS, Lawrence (Mary Jane) of Miramichi; daughter-in-law, Anne Kingston of Dartmouth; sisters, Cecilia Anderson of Bartibogue Bridge, Margaret Lyons of Miramichi, Rita Patterson of Miramichi, Frances Kenny of Tabusintac; brothers, Bernie Savage (Stella) of Russellville and Fred Savage (Clara) of Russellville; 26 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Rose is predeceased by her husband, Donnie; son Robert Guy; sister Kathleen; brother, James. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 2pm from Knox United Church in Loggieville. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring.
