Helen B. Sansom
Helen B. Sansom 1911 - 2006 Helen B. Sansom of Moncton passed away at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Friday, March 3, 2006 at the age of 94 years. Born in Denver, Colorado, on June 10, 1911, the daughter of the late John and Lottie (Page) Lipsett. She spent her childhood years in the Hartland area, attending Sussex High School then Normal School. She taught for a few years, prior to marriage and raising her family. A past member of the Beaver Curling Club, she also enjoyed her church group activities. Many summers were enjoyed with visiting grandchildren, especially Edie's piano playing and her grandson Evan's guitar playing and reading from her favorite magazine. Helen was an active member of the Professional Engineers Wives Association, and prior to living at Spencers Memorial Home, she enjoyed active years at Royal Court, subsequent to living in the Moncton West End for many years. A member of The First Baptist Church, Moncton, we are deeply grateful for the caring fellowship of the visitation minister Perley Steeves. Also, a special thanks to the staff at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home for their care and compassion. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl, and her husband, Lawrence McDonough of Kingston, ON; five grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Tracy, Evan and Edith; nephew, Dr. Alfred Brooks of Alliston, ON. Predeceased by her husband, Ralph T. Sansom in 1987; and her sister, Edith Brooks. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street on Friday, March 10, 2006 from 9:00 to 11:00am. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 11:00 am with Rev. Delbert B. Bannister officiating. There will be a reception following the service. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In Helen's memory, donations made to First Moncton Baptist Church Visitation Ministry Fund would be appreciated by her family.
