Muriel Louise Steeves 1908-2006 RIVERSIDE-ALBERT, NB - Muriel Louise Steeves, 97, of Forest Dale Home, Riverside-Albert and formerly of Hopewell Cape passed away peacefully on March 10, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital with her family by her side. Muriel was born in Hopewell Cape on May 25, 1908 the daughter of the late James and Edna (Jamieson) Carlin. She was a loving housewife and mother. She was a special lady and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her children, Jerome Steeves (Calva) of Hillsborough; daughter, Betty Hendy (Wayne) of Hopewell Cape and Darryl Steeves of Albert Mines; she will also be missed by her six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry C. Steeves (1996); sisters, Hazel, Doris and Frances; brothers, George, Alston, Delbert and Arnold. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday evening from 7 to 9pm. The funeral Service will be held from the Albert County Funeral Home on Sunday, March 12, 2006 at 2:00pm. Interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, NB at a later date.
