Leah Harriet Whalen 1911 - 2006 MACKENZIE, BC - Leah Harriet Whalen (nee Chevarie) passed away peacefully with family by her side Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Mackenzie Hospital, BC, at the age of 95. Born in Stanley, NB January 8, 1911. Moved to Kent Junction, NB at the age of 15. Daughter of the late Joseph Chevarie and the late Elise (Richard) Chevarie. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Yvonne Stewart, Harcourt, Theresa (Gordon) Wylie, Kent Junction, Elsie (George) Stewart, Mackenzie, BC; stepdaughter, Gertrude Legere, Moncton; step daughter-in-law, Lorraine Whalen, Moncton; sisters, Nancy Beck, Burlington, ON, Alida Richard, Brockville, ON, Dorina (Leo) Cormier, Rogersville; brothers, Joachim Chevarie, St. Charles, Alcide (Ida) Chevarie, St. Charles, Leonide (Rosalie) Chevarie, Langueil, Que, Lionel (Peggy) Chevarie, LaSalle, Que; sister-in-law, Delorice Chevarie, Penobsquis; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
