Gil Maurice Goodwin 1988 - 2006 SACKVILLE, NB - Gil Maurice Goodwin, age 17, passed away suddenly in a car accident on Saturday morning, March 18, 2006. Born on August 29, 1988 in Summerside, PEI, he was the son of Louise (Bent) Goodwin and Arthur Goodwin. Gil was a grade 12 student at Tantramar Regional High School in Sackville, NB. He loved playing all sports, four-wheeling and spending time with his family and friends. Gil's death is a tragic loss of life. He had great potential to become anything he strived to be and was a loving and compassionate person. Family and friends will grieve for him for the remainder of their lives. Gil will be sadly missed by his mother, Louise Goodwin of Sackville, NB; his father, Arthur Goodwin of New Glasgow, NS; his brother, Josh (Christine) Goodwin of Moncton, NB; and his sister, Sondra (Michael) Baker, and their children, Mason and Katie all of Calgary, AB. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB, (364-8188). Cremation has taken place and visitation will be on Monday, March 20, 2006 from 6 to 9 PM at Campbell's Funeral Home, Sackville. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 2 PM at the Sackville United Church with Rev. Gail Hopkirk officiating. A time of fellowship and remembrance will be shared following the service in the Sackville United Church Hall, with refreshments provided by the Sackville UCW. Donations in memory of Gil may be made to the Tourette's Syndrome Foundation of Canada or to the charity of one's choice.
