Douglas John Wright
Douglas John Wright 1970 -2006 GERMANTOWN, NB - Douglas John Wright, 36, of Germantown passed away on March 27, 2006 at The Moncton Hospital with his family by his side, after a sudden illness. Doug was born in Moncton on February 22, 1970, the son of Elmer Wright Jr. and Brenda (Butland). Doug was a mechanic and worked at Lynn's Sport Shop in Albert for 17 years. If anything was wrong with your ski-doo, four wheeler or anything with a motor, for that matter, Doug was the man to fix it. He enjoyed his work very much. He could hardly wait until the snow came so he could get out on his snowmobile, and relax with his friends on the ski-doo trails. He also enjoyed four wheeling, watching NASCAR on Sundays, and spending time with his wife and family. If anyone needed a hand to do anything, he was there to lend a helping hand. He was a devoted and caring husband and very excited and looking forward to the birth of his first child. His child will be told how much his/her father loved him/her and that he will be looking out for him/her. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Sherry (Sargent) Wright and his unborn child; his mother, Brenda Rossiter (Donald) of Lower Coverdale; father, Elmer Wright Jr. (Ann) of Miramichi; his maternal grandmother, Lena Butland (Mom) of Riverside- Albert; paternal grandmother Hazel Wright of Stoney Creek; step great grandmother, Bertha Rossiter of Lower Coverdale; sister, Tammy Wright (Brian) of Dieppe; stepsister, Valerie Rossiter (Barry) of Moncton; brother, Andrew Rossiter of Lower Coverdale; stepbrother, Greg Rossiter (Tamara) of Riverview; mother-in-law, Gertie Sargent of Germantown; sister-in-law, Denise Priest (Donnie) of Albert Mines. He will also be missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, all of his friends and by his sookie dog, Spike. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Ronald Butland; and paternal grandfather, Elmer Wright Sr.; and by his father-in-law, Patrick Sargent. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 2pm with Rev. Val Chongva officiating.
