Mrs. Elizabeth Manuel ST. IGNACE, NB - Mrs. Elizabeth Manuel, 91, of the Foyer Bois-Joli, St. Ignace formerly of Baie Ste Anne, passed away peacefully on Monday at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in St Anne, NB. Elizabeth was born in Pointe Sapan, the daughter of Pierre and Seraphie (Maillet) Manuel. Elizabeth is survived by daughters, Jeannine Manuel of Montreal, Esthelle Manuel of Moncton, Evangeline Manuel (Edward Fournier) of Moncton, Ann Marie Robichaud of St Louis; sons, Edmond of Baie Ste Anne, Alyre (Lucienne Daigle) of Baie Ste Anne, Tony (Margerie Mill) of Saint John, Roger (Emelia) of Montreal; brother, Eric Daigle of Baie Ste Anne and Edmond Daigle (Adele) of Fredericton; sisters, Therese Daigle of Baie Ste Anne, Margerite Durelle (Raymond) of Baie Ste Anne, Beatrice Richard of Rexton, Della Arsenault of Moncton, Bertha Wilson (Earl) of Moncton, 12 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Manuel; son, Paul; sister, Emilda Manuel; brothers, Alcide, Emile and Nazaire. Visitation with family and friends was held at the Baie Ste Anne Slumberoom on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday at 4pm from St Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste Anne. Interment will be in the church cemetery in the spring.
