Erva Lucille Scott HALIFAX, NS - Erva Lucille Scott, 93, of Halifax, formerly of Moncton, passed away peacefully in the company of her daughters on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at the QE II HSC Infirmary Site. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Evva (McIntyre) Newkirk. Erva was a graduate of the University of Guelph in dietetics. She was a member of the Beaver Curling Club and Moncton Golf and Country Club, and many bridge groups. She was a member of both St. James' and St. George's Anglican Churches, and was a past member of the I.O.D.E. She loved her adopted city of Halifax and her final years living at Melville Heights close to family. She is survived by her daughters Mary Anne (Larry) Nardecchia, Mt. Uniacke, and Susan (Larry) Lundquist, Bedford; grandchildren, Rob and Lisa Nardecchia and Laura Lundquist. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bob, sister Mildred, and cousin Paul. Erva's special sparkle and cheerful outlook endeared her to everyone. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Moncton, at a later date.
