Russell G. Corey HAVELOCK, NB - Russell Gates Corey, 84, of Havelock passed away Tuesday April 4, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Cherryvale, he was a son of the late Frank G. and Caroline (Greeno) Corey. Russell was a member of the New Canaan Baptist Church and retired from Canada Cement Lafarge after 36 years. He was a former member of the Havelock Flying Club and will be lovingly remembered by his family as a quiet man who enjoyed his family. Survived by his children, Nova (Lynn) of Jemseg, Donna Hamm (late Brian) and Gayle Kincade (Stan) of Cambridge-Narrows, Larry of Havelock and Luke (Patsy) of Gibbons, AB; grandchildren, Dean, Mindi, Trevor, Troy, Jill, Carrie, Shalene, Devon and Sarah and nine great grandchildren. Survived also by sisters, Marjorie Keirstead of Forks Stream, Mary Burke of Amherst; a brother, Archie Corey of Lower Ridge and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, the former Eva Keith; brothers, Allen and Ernest (Hank). Resting at the Havelock Funeral Parlour, 19 Cross Street (534-2600) with visiting Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 7, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Leslie Hicks officiating. Interment at the New Canaan Baptist Cemetery.
