Garth Edward Cudmore Sr. DARTMOUTH, NS - Garth Edward Cudmore Sr, 84, formerly of Cudmore Manor, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2006 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Percy and Flora Cudmore. He worked his entire career at CNR and VIA Rail for 38 years in the Sleeping and Dining Car Department. He also enjoyed the functions at CNIB. He always enjoyed a good laugh. He was a great and loving father to daughter, Jane (Morris) Monk and granddaughter Katy, Dartmouth; son, Eddie, Lake Echo; grandchildren, Andrew (Darlene), Barry (Deanna), Roy, Stephen (Shelley) and Valerie (Gary) MacDonnell and his great grandchildren. He was brother to Clayton (Jackie), Donald (Irene), Eileen Dryden, all of Moncton, Mirth Wendt, Wisconsin; and sister-in-law, Mabel Cudmore, Sackville. He was predeceased by his loving wife, the former Mary Ellen Keith and brother, Roland. Arrangements under the care of J. Albert Walker & Sons Funeral Home, Dartmouth (469-5601). Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Lake Echo Fellowship Baptist Church , 17 Peter Court, Lake Echo, Pastor Frank Kohler officiating. Burial will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens, Westphal. Donations may be made on his behalf to either the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
