Grace (Geertje) Kok 1915 - 2006 The death of Mrs. Grace (Geertje) Kok, 90 years, wife of Dick, of Riverview, occurred at Spencer Memorial Home on Monday, April 17, 2006. Born in Amsterdam, Holland December 18, 1915 she was the daughter of the late Berend and Ruurtje (Ficke) Fikke. Grace had been a member of the Riverview Craft Guild Inc. and many years ago was a Pioneer Girl Leader at Calvary Baptist Church. Grace is survived by her husband of 69 years Dick; her daughter Jose Wilson (Bud) of Riverview; her son Hans Kok (Mavis) of Powell River, BC as well as 10 grand children, several great grand children, nieces and nephews. The last surviving member of her immediate family she was also predeceased by a great grandson Tyler. By family request there will not be any visiting hours prior to the memorial service which will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 3:30 pm at Trinity United Church, Old Coach Road, Riverview followed by a reception in the church hall.
