Annie Blakney Dykeman BAYFIELD, NB - The death of Annie Blakney Dykeman, age 87, of Bayfield, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, April 20, 2006. Born in Dumbarton, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Annie (Gothard) McLellan. Best known as Ann of Ann's Acres, she lived in Jemseg and the Kingston Peninsula prior to returning to Bayfield in 2001. Ann will be sadly missed by a daughter Geraldine (David) Allen of Bayfield; a sister Mollie Gaddess of Minto, NB; two grandchildren, Jason (Crysta) and Bethany (Andrew); three great grandchildren, Trinity, Nicholas and Jessica; three step-children, Carol Ann (Ronnie), Gerald (Barb) and Russell (Myrtle); several step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Dykeman, two brothers, Archibald and Norman McLellan and a sister, Margaret. The remains have been entrusted into the professional care of the Jones Funeral Home, 3 W. Main St., Port Elgin with visitation Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at 2:00 pm, William Drysdale LPMiT, officiating. Burial in the Bayfield Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
