BARRON, Annie V. (Costello)– From Holyrood, NL., July 24, 1939 - February 21, 2009. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family, after a lengthy illness at the Health Sciences Centre, on Saturday, February 21, 2009, Annie Barron, aged 69 years of Holyrood; pre-deceased by her parents: Patrick & Agnes, her sister: Margaret Terry, her brothers: William, Francis & John and granddaughter Becky Ann. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 50 years, Ambrose; her children: Hazel, Tom (Joanne Lewis), Ursula (Boyd Snook), Sunnyside, N.L., Joyce, Paula (Dave Decker), Mississauga, Ont., AnnMarie (Gary Dalton), Esther (Enos Dominix), Rita (Kevin Walsh), and Cyril. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren: Jessica, (Mississauga, Ont.), Marissa, Coady, Brianna, Rolanda, Todd, Agnes, Jackie, Jillian and Kim, (Mississauga, Ont.), Stacey, Joshua, Bradley, Rebecca, Tiffany, Victoria, and one great grandson Nathan. She also leaves behind her brothers: Patrick, Maurice (Edwina), and Michael (Bonnie); her sisters: Madonna (Patrick Ghaney), Bride Meaney and Genny. She will also be missed by a wide circle of extended family and friends, including nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Funeral service was held at Holy Cross Church, Holyrood on Monday, February 23, 2009, followed by inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetary, Holyrood on Saturday, February 28, 2009.
