Edith A. Harm

Edith A. Harm 1911 - 2006 Edith A. Harm, 94, of Moncton, and formerly of Dalhousie, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, May 11, 2006. Born in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Ward) Valdron. Edith attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church and was a former Church Choir member. She was a member of the Moncton Lions Senior Citizens Club, an avid bridge player, was an excellent bowler at Moncton Fairlanes until retirement at age 92. Besides bowling she enjoyed gardening, reading and spending quality time with her family. Edith will be sadly missed by her daughter, Karen Ritchie (Brian), Shediac Cape; sons, Richard (Diane), Dalhousie, Donnie (Pam), Moncton; grandchildren, Kimberly Ritchie, Linda Otten (Kurt), David Ritchie (Melissa), Christopher Harm (Tammy), Charles Darrin Harm; great grandchildren, Kara, Cole, Brooke, Gregory, Kristen, Devin; brothers, Austin Valdron (Gerry), Dalhousie, Melvin Valdron, Petit Rocher; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Henry Harm (1984); sisters, Eva, Elizabeth, Mabel, Mary; brothers, Herman, Arthur, Edwin. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Sunday 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, May 15, 2006, 2pm. Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the service. Following the Funeral Service the remains are being forwarded for visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie, Monday 7 to 9pm. Interment, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery, Darlington, N.B.
