Cecile Marie Gallant 1907 - 2006 Cecile Marie Gallant of Moncton, NB, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, May 15, 2006 at the age of 99 years. She was born in Saint Simeon, Quebec on April 5, 1907. She was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB. Survived by daughters, Jacqueline Ringuette of North Bay, ON, Betty (Adrien) Allard of Campbellton, NB, Ruby Botacin of St. Catherines ON, Rose-Marie (Bill) Olyneck of Blairmore AB, Lorraine MacNeill of Peterborough ON, Doreen Dermentzis of Toronto ON, and Anne Munn of Riverview, NB; sons, Don Murray of Port Hope, ON, George (Grace) Gallant of Vancouver, BC, Chester (Sally) Gallant of Thunder Bay, ON, Lou Gallant of Alberta, Maurice Gallant of Richmond, BC, and Richard (Sharon) Gallant of Campbellton, NB; sisters, Melvina Parker of Amherstburg, ON, Elizabeth Caissie of Nouvelle, Que, and Juliette LeBlanc of Windsor, ON; also by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James H. Gallant in 1976; daughter, Lucille in 1972; son, David R. in 2001; sisters, Regina Bujold, and Adelina Thedore; also by a brother, Renee LeBlanc. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. There will be parish prayers on Wednesday evening at 8:30pm at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be held at The Holy Family Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 2:00 pm with Father Jeff Doucette officiating. Interment will be in St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery, Campbelton, NB. In Cecile's memory, donations made to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
