Laudia Landry

Laudia Landry 1926 - 2006 Laudia Landry, 80, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, May, 16, 2006. Born in Scoudouc, on March 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Sylvain Dollard and Elizabeth LeBlanc. Laudia enjoyed music and dancing, she attended Notre Dame De Grace Parish, Parkton and was an active member of the club D'Age D'Or, as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch #6. She is survived by her six children, Patrick Melanson (Barbara), Donald Melanson (Irma), Greta Hayman (Bob), Sylvia Melanson (Paul), Linda Cormier (George), and Alina Kent (Allie); 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Thompson (Ray); a brother, Aquilla Dallaire, (Aurella). In addition to her parents she was predeceased by husbands, Stanley Melanson, Everard Cormier, and Eloi Landry; a sister, Rosie; brothers, Fred, Harvey, Gerry, and George; grandchildren, Danny Melanson, and Michael Briggs. In keeping with Laudia's wishes there will be no visitation prior to the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Notre Dame De Grace Parish on Saturday, May 20th, 2006 at 10:30 am. A reception for Laudia's family and friends will to held at 12 o'clock Saturday, May 20th at the Club D'Age D'Or Notre Dame De Grace, 5 Keillor Street. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation, the Dr. G. L. Dumont Hospital Foundation, or a memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton.
