Margaret E. Hicks MCKEE'S MILLS, NB - Margaret E. Hicks, of McKee's Mills, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2006 after a lengthy illness, at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Manoir in Bouctouche, with her loving family by her side. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Nettie (Irving) Abrams. Margaret was an honorary member of First United Baptist Church, Moncton for 68 years, a choir member for many years and a member of Zella Clark Missionary Group. She was a lifetime member of Canadian Bible Society, a Dominion Life Member of the Baptist Missionary Society, a member of Atlantic Baptist Missionary Group of McKee's Mills Baptist Church and was a former volunteer at Spencer Memorial Home. Margaret was very active in the community and loved flowers, gardening and traveling. Margaret will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 63 years, Calvin; her four daughters, Peggy Farrow (David), Donna Long (Gary), both of McKee's Mills, Sharon Myklebust (Roar), Riverview, Joanne Wilson (Townsend), Halifax, NS; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Helen Caine, Florida; brother, Gordon Abrams (Roween), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Pamela; brothers, Harold and Stewart; sister, Marion. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 11am, Rev. Dr. Richard Jackson and Rev. Edward Shaw officiating. Reception following the service.
