Mrs. Sylvia Lillian (Trevors) Smith MIRAMICHI, NB - The death of Mrs. Sylvia Lillian (Trevors) Smith, wife of Llewellyn Smith of Islandview Drive, Miramichi, NB, occurred on Monday, March 29, 2006 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 61. Born in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (McCormack) Trevors. She was a retired retail manager and first lady of the Luxor Shriners 2005. Besides her husband, Sylvia is survived by one son, Jerry (Trish) of South Nelson; one daughter, Kathy Hill (Eric) of South Nelson, NB; four sisters, Dianne Matchett (Mervin), Carolyn Robichaud (Winston), Linda MacLean (Brian) all of Miramichi, NB, Marilyn O'Kane (Joe) of Summerside, PEI; one brother, Paul Trevors (Emma) of Miramichi, NB; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Erica Hill and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 7 to 9 PM and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 2 PM from St. James United Church, Nelson with Rev. Ross Wiseman officiating. Burial will take place in St. James United Church Cemetery.
