Dorothy P. Field 1926 - 2006 Dorothy Pauline Field, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, June 7th, 2006 at The Moncton Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Lakeville, NB, on January 31, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Margaret M. (Moore) Steeves. Dorothy was a former RN, a volunteer at the K. E. Spencer Memorial Home and The Moncton Hospital and a member of Highfield United Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Basil Earl Field of Moncton; daughter, Dorothy Ann Cormier (Robert) of Havelock; son, Peter Rodger Field (Lisa) of East Lawrence Town, NS; grandchildren, Adam (Jennifer), Ashlea (Tyler) and Peter; great grandchildren, Taylor, and Addison; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Buchannan of Winnipeg. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Friday, June 9 from 12 to 2 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 2 o'clock on Friday, June 9th, 2006. Friends are invited to attend a reception in the Garden View Room of the funeral home following the service. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
