Michael Demchuk TRURO, NS - Michael Demchuk, 82, of Truro, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2006 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Selkirk, Manitoba, he was a son of the late Michael and Francis (Neskar) Demchuk. Michael was a Veteran of the Second World War and a salesman for many years. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Hamilton; sons, Michael Jr. (Brenda) of Gotteridge, Ontario, Ronald (Sharon) of Moncton, N.B., Gregory (Carol) of Middle Sackville, N.S.; granddaughters, Christine, Rhonda, Darlene; great-grandson, Drew. He was predeceased by a sister, Vicki; brother, Alex. No visitation by family request. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date with burial in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley.
