Shirley L. Bannister TURTLE CREEK, NB - Shirley L. Bannister 75, of Turtle Creek with her family by her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, June 26, 2006. Born in Turtle Creek, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lottie (Leaman) Tower. Shirley was a former employee of T. Eaton Co. Ltd., Crawford Housewares Ltd. and retired from Maritime Ice. She enjoyed camping and shopping, was also an avid bingo player, however, her love for her family always came first. Shirley will be sadly missed by, Hollis Collier, her companion for many years; her children, Phyllis Wilson, Moncton, David (Kathy), Boundary Creek, Cathie Way (John), Moncton, Rick (Debbie), Germantown, Bev Steeves (Fred), Turtle Creek, Nancy Campbell (Fred), Salisbury, Kim Cole (Larry), Turtle Creek, Dar Brown (Mike Landry), Turtle Creek; 23 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Wanda Martin (Robert), Moncton; brothers, Charlie Tower, Arnold Tower (Rosalie), Gurney Tower (Linda) all of Turtle Creek, Bert Tower (Sharon), Portage La Prairie, MB, Cliff Jr. (Linda), Upper Coverdale, Brian Tower (Barb), Riverview; sisters-in-law, Marie Tower, Portage La Prairie, Donna Tower, Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two grandchildren, Little Fred and Susan; one great granddaughter, Ashlyn; one sister, Marjorie. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday June 29, 2006, 2pm.
