Rose Hartop 1924 - 2006 Rose Marie Hartop, formerly of Cameron St., Moncton, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her daughter Trudy's home on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the age of 82. Born in Toronto, ON, she was the daughter of the late John Benton and Viola Robbins, and was predeceased by her brother, Jackie Benton and her sister, Vilee Johnson. She is survived by her eldest sister, Vicki Janese of Hamilton, ON; a brother, Allen Bolte of Winnipeg, MN; and a younger sister, Dorothy Warman of Toronto, ON. Beloved mother of Margaret (David) Wellwood of Wasaga, ON and Trudy Cormier of Moncton, NB; she is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Heather (Lee) Killam, Teresa (Max) Meer, Michael Wellwood, Anna-Marria Anchor, Andrew Wellwood, Lenna (Morris) Doiron, Erna (Serge) Gaudet, Jackie (Derrick) Hatto, Chapelle Melanson (Mark), Sunday (David) DeWolfe, Ernest Cormier, Edison (Kathy) Cormier, Mary-Margaret Cormier (Robin Grant); and two step-grandsons, Joseph Caissie and Vernon Maguire Jr.; as well as 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110), 114 Alma Street, Moncton, where visiting hours will be on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service, conducted by Fr. B. Sloan, will be held on Tuesday, July 18th, 2006 at 11 am in Cadman Bowness Funeral Home, followed by a reception to be held in the Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Rose loved flowers, however donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in her memory would also be appreciated.
