Leslie Gerald Bryenton The death of Mr. Leslie Gerald Bryenton, husband of the late Joan Marie (Pippey) Bryenton of Cassilis, NB, occurred on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 79. Born in Cassilis, NB, he was the son of the late Marshall and Arabella (Mullin) Bryenton. Leslie worked in Nova Scotia for many years as a barber. He attended Boom Road Pentecostal Church and in recent months attended the 7-Day Adventist Church. Leslie is survived by one sister, Lula Somers (Harry) of Millerton, NB; three brothers, Jarvis (Susie) of Boom Road, NB, Jack (Evelene) of Cassilis, NB, Carl of Branford, ON; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Joan; Leslie was predeceased by sisters, Blanche (Hugh) Somers, Beatrice (Newton) Johnston, and Kay (Earl) McKenna; brothers, Charlie, Billy (Jenny) and infant brother, Kenneth. At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held from the Boom Road Pentecostal Church on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 11 AM with Pastor Fred Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Stephen's United Church Cemetery, Red Bank, NB. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
