Roger. C. Gaudet 1949-2006 Roger Charles Gaudet of Steadman Street, formerly of Shirley Avenue, Moncton, passed away suddenly on Monday morning July 17th 2006 at the age of 57. Born in Blacks Harbour, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Anne (Bingham) Gaudet. Roger was semi-retired and was active for over 9 years with the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch #6. His most enjoyable times were playing darts and volunteering his time with the Legion. Roger will be greatly missed by his brothers; Gerald and Edward Gaudet of Moncton, nieces; Stacy Robinson (Gaudet), Kimberly Gaudet and nephews Daniel and Darren Gaudet. Roger will be remembered as a man of few words, very kind and generous and an extremely hard worker. The family would like to thank Cst. Mike White Jr. of the Codiac RCMP and Ginette Pettipas-Taylor of victim services for their professional help. A Royal Canadian Legion service will be held on Thursday, July 20 at 7:00 pm at Fair Haven Funeral Home, followed by visitation from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place from the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, July 21 at 10:00 AM, followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Blacks Harbour Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Roger may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion.
