Clifford Kingston Owen 1923 - 2006 Clifford Kingston Owen, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, July 31st, 2006. Born in River Hebert, NS, on December 11th, 1923, he was the son of the late B.P. Owen and Myrtle Elizabeth Morrell. A veteran of the Second World War, Clifford served as a LAC with the RCAF. He retired from Hobart Manufacturing Co. following many years as a service technician and was a long-standing member of Mountain View United Church. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Avalon Eunice (Castle) Owen; daughters, Myrna Norman (David) of Nelson, BC, Valerie Russell (Elliott) of Moncton, Nancy Morrissey (Allen) of Moncton; son, Michael Owen (Sue) of Niagara Falls, ON; grandchildren, Karen (Todd) Patriska of Middle Ridge, BC, Tami (Bryn) Yendley of Lazo, BC, Sherry (Terry) Goff of Port Coquitlam, BC, Jennifer (Rod) Weisner, of Mission, BC, Jason (Cindy) Owen of Moncton, Heather Morrissey, of Moncton, Christian Johnson and Michael Johnson, Niagara Falls; great grandchildren, Ty and Brandon Goff, Haley and Brett Patriska, Travis and Jenna Yendley, Griffin and Zachary Owen, Jonah and Samantha Weisner. There will be no visitation prior to the Funeral Service to be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 3rd, 2006, at Mountain View United Church, 85 MacBeath Avenue, Moncton. A reception for Cliff's friends and family will follow the service in the Church Hall. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Cliff may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or Mountain View United Church.
