Cecil Allen (Red) SALISBURY, NB - Cecil Allen (Red), 69, of Main St. Salisbury passed away Wednesday August 2, 2006, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Havelock, he was a son of the late Graydon and Eva (Plume) Allen. Cecil served ten years with the Canadian Navy and retired as a boilermaker with Local 73 in New Brunswick. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Salisbury and in retirement enjoyed his morning coffee and conversation at Tom's Corner. He was an avid outdoorsman, a member of the Havelock Sportsman Club and affiliated with numerous wildlife and outdoor organizations. He attended Saint John's Anglican Church in Salisbury. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 37 years the former Inez Harvey; children, Wayne Siddall (Bonita) of Kelowna B.C., Dale Siddall (Darlene) of Inverness P.E.I., Wendy French (Roy) of Stewiacke N.S.; grandchildren, Tara, Christopher, Brian, Katelynn, Shaun and Kevin; several family members and by many friends including life long friends, Connie and Bernie Vaughn and Kenny Sing. Predeceased by a sister, Mary Lou MacAulay; two grandsons, Phillip French and Brent Siddall. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Friday for the family from 2 to 4 p.m. and for the public 7 to 9 p.m. The Salisbury Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will conduct a memorial service at 6:45 p.m. The Funeral will be held Saturday August 5 at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bill Morton officiating with a reception to follow. Cremation after the funeral and interment at Pine Hill Cemetery, Salisbury.
