Ruth E. Cole SACKVILLE, NB - Ruth E. Cole 64, of Drew Nursing Home, Sackville and formerly of Riverview passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday August 1, 2006 following a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, daughter of the late Henry and Bertha (Ryan) Lutz. Ruth attended Lower Coverdale Baptist Church and Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church. Ruth's interests and hobbies ranged from gardening, camping, bowling, skiing to painting, sewing, ceramics, crocheting and knitting. In her younger years she was fashion forward and sociable with many activities in the church. Ruth drew her daily strength from her faith, music, song and prayer. Ruth will be sadly missed by her daughters, Kathleen Cole-Nelson (Ed), Wendy Murray (Lawlor), Patricia Cole (Stephen), Sharon Anderson (Ivan), Ashley Cole (Jason); sisters, Alexanderia McLaughlin (Douglas), Kathleen Wilmot (Allen), Sharon Crossman; brother, David Lutz (Jeanne); eight grandchildren, Jamie, Shannon, Dylan, Zachary, Jacob, Kyle, Brianna, and Levi; several nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her sister Annie Sprague (2003). No visitation by personal request. Funeral service at Lower Coverdale Baptist Church, Lower Coverdale, Friday August 4, 2006, 3pm, Mr. Claude Arsenault officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Wilmot Cemetery, Lower Coverdale. The family is appreciative of the care Ruth received from doctors, nurses, volunteers and staff at the Drew Nursing Home and Sackville Memorial Hospital.
