Guy A. Pollock ELGIN, NB - Guy A. Pollock, age 83, of Elgin, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2006 at the Jordan LifeCare Centre. Born in Hillside, he was the son of the late Alonzo Pollock and Sadie (Collier) Pollock Garland. Guy was a trucker prior to moving to Ontario, where he worked for 22 years as a welder. He moved back to Elgin to retire in 1979. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gertrude (Mitton); children, Dale (Barbara) of Ontario, Linda Humphreys (Bob) of Manitoba, Gary of Ontario, Randy at home; grandchildren, Rebecca, Jeremy, Christopher, Sean, Megan, and Caitlin; sister, Beulah Crosthwaite of Petitcodiac; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his step father, Pearl; brothers, Lewis and Gordon, infant sister, Louise. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 2pm, Pastor J. Hammond officiating. The burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery.
