The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Sunday, March 8, 2009, of Juliana “Julie” Birch, of Clark Street, Charlottetown and formerly of Summerside, aged 55 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Dina “Bucky” (Aitken) Birch. Survived by a brother, Hal, Summerside; a sister, Cathy Birch-Baglole (Dale Baglole), Lot 16; niece Tanya Birch, Summerside; nephew Kyle DesRoches, Summerside; by her special nephews, Mitchell (Jen) and their daughter Emma Lynn; and Jonathan (Sabrina). Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Interment will later take place in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
