Carl Alward HAVELOCK, NB - Carl Richard Alward, 65, of Havelock passed away by accident Thursday, September 7, 2006. Born in Sussex he was a son of Louise (McFarlane) Alward and the late Maynard Alward. Carl was a self employed heavy equipment contractor and took great pride in offering prompt courteous service to his many customers. Family was most important and he will be sadly missed by his mother Louise of Moncton; his beloved wife of 45 years the former Fern Renton; his son, Daniel (Roxanne) of Havelock; grandchildren, Christopher (Amber) and Nicole (Shawn); sister, Deanna Johnstone of Wolfville; nieces; nephews; cousins; a step-brother and two step-sisters. Predeceased by his father, Maynard; sister, Deloris and step-father, A. Roy Alward. The family will receive visitors at the Havelock Funeral Parlour, 19 Cross St. on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Sunday September 10, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Irving officiating.
